We went to Heidelberg! And by "we", I mean a whole Manchester contingent. We were there for the Chase - a huge lindy festival - but we had a day to walk around town before classes started, so Liam, Mike, Mark and I decided to be proper tourist and go see the castle.

The castle was pretty cool! Unfortunately we went on a guided tour (because it was the only way to get inside) but the tour guide was almost hilariously boring, except, well, not hilarious. He had the most droning voice with a heavy German accent which made it quite difficult for me to understand him, which was fine, because he didn't really say anything interesting. OH WELL. The castle was still cool!

Mike and Mark hurried off to a taster class in the afternoon, but Liam and I were much to hot for that (it was absolutely sweltering) so we did the only reasonable thing ...
... and went for ice cream instead. :)
