weddings, weddings!
Weddings, weddings! The first three are from last Sunday, when we rehearsed the songs for Stina's and Andreas' wedding in September. I had so much fun that day, and I adore that photo of Kristian and Karin, who like me will be singing one song each.
The next two are from yesterday. I've known Adam since I was about eleven, and I was happy to be able to be there yesterday. Even though I don't see Adam & Lina a lot nowadays, I adore them both.

I couldn't be happier
First week at a new school; the days have been so full and yet they have passed by so fast! Lots of parties, and lots and lots of music. Plus I went to my old school today and it looks like I'm going to be able to attend some classes there, too. I get to have my cake and eat it too! And I couldn't be happier right now. These are a few of my new classmates (not the kayakers though, we saw them passing as we sat by the sea an evening).

leaving
This is my friend Robin, who came to visit me last week. He got up in the morning and made me breakfast - freshly pressed orange juice, vanilla yoghurt with grapes, scrambled eggs, and pains au chocolat ... staight from the oven. Did I mention I have the best friends in the world?
(The other one is me on the train two days ago ... Because I was bored and it was a long time since I took a self portrait. I had two lovely days in Jönköping, but I don't have the time to tell you right now.)
Tomorrow I'm off to the new school. I don't feel like it at all at the moment, I'm so in love with this apartment and this city and my people ... my home. But I'll be back on Friday, so I'll see you all then.

emil + linda
Since I want to photograph everything that I do, espacially my friends, I always hope to get a few good shots at a wedding. Unfortunately though, a wedding can be the most difficult thing to photograph (if you're not "the photographer") - people everywhere, crowds around the bride and groom, difficult lighting that you can't change. And most of all the fact that I'm to busy looking, smiling, crying, talking to have much time to take pictures.
With all that said, here are a few - basically the only ones I'm happy with - from Linda's and Emil's wedding on Saturday. It was such a beautiful celebration and somehow they managed to get it cozy and personal although there were 130+ guests. Thank you, my dears, I am so immensely happy for you both and so happy to be given the chance to share this day with you!

men det gör jag, tror jag
One photo from each of the concerts I went to this week: Detektivbyrån, Tribute to Dusty Springfield (with among others Rebecka Törnqvist who is one of my old favorites, such a versatile singer!) and bob hund.
bob hund was weird ... I have been loving them SO MUCH (circa 1998-2002) and then they released a bad CD and then they disapperared, only to come back now - and transfer me back to high school with only a few short chords' notice. Such a bizarre feeling, but I loved it all the same ... I have come to love the teenage me so much lately. And the person I have grown into.

choir & fruit salad
I'm behind on posting! I've been havng a lot of fun lately (= many photos taken = even more photos that I want to show than usual). These are from a little choir party I hosted (mostly on the lawn outside my building) last week. I adore my choir!
Coming up: a few shots from Kulturkalaset (sort of like a festival in Göteborg - mostly boring, but with a few good concerts) and more importantly, Linda's and Emil's wedding yesterday - but first things first. :)

august so far
I have been working so much with my project for the exhibition (it is part of the photography class I'm taking this summer - more on that later) that it feels like paradise just editing these ordinary, normal, everyday life photos for the blog. The exhibition is also why I've been so absent from the blog, so here are a few photos from the beginning of August.

tired & sunburnt
Spent the day out by the sea with most of my cousins and a bunch of other relatives (parents, aunts, uncles, my favorite second cousin and, pictured above, my brother). It's been a great day, I spent half an hour in the sea (it was 19° - nice!). And now I am tired and sunburnt and happy.
