skärtorsdag

Skärtorsdag idag och jag har tagit påsklov. Jag ska åka till Trollhättan där Viktor möter mig och sedan ska vi gömma oss i fyra dagar. Passa hans mammas hus, gå i midnattsmässan, se på många filmer och bryta fastan (= äta många kakor). Och ha semestersemester. Semestersemester är som vanlig semester fast bättre, för det är det bästa av två världar: man är inte hemma hos sig, så man kan inte göra något "nyttigt", men man är heller inte bortrest och vilsen och måste hyra någonstans att bo och äta ute hela tiden. Plus att man kan promenera längs vattnet i Trollhättan om man har tur med vädret. Och ni vet ju hur jag känner för vattnet i Trollhättan.

Maundy Thursday today and I'm on Easter break. I'm going to Trollhättan where Viktor will meet me and then we're going to hide for four days. Take care of his mother's house while she's away, go to the midnight mass, watch many movies and break the fast (= eating many cookies). And have vacation-vacation. Vacation-vacation is like ordinary vacation but better, because it is the best of two worlds: you're not in your own home, so you can't do anything you "should" be doing, but you're not traveling and lost, having to rent someplace to live and eat out all the time. And also, you can walk by the water in Trollhättan if the weather's good. And you know how I feel about the water in Trollhättan.
